I really want to go to this, but Tuesday at 5pm in Seattle is tough for me.
I live and work on the east side.

Are there any weekend events?

To answer everyone's questions:

It is indeed every Tuesday.

Sadly there are no weekend events planned, but we may run a tournament with some proper prizes other than bragging rights in the future. If so, we can see about making it happen on a weekend.

Also, 5:00-6:30 is casuals/warm-ups. The bracket doesn't start until after all that is over. Don't know if the extra hour and a half is a deal-maker... but you never know.

Also it was a whopping 12 people last week. Hoping to keep that attendance up.

Sadly, Molly and I won't be able to make it except maybe once a month...

Got my kickbox set up yesterday so it's playable, not finished or pretty, but playable. About to play this game the way it was meant to be played this week. I'm not sharing, so I hope you Mr. N's all travel with your stick.

I unfortunately can't come today, so don't depend on my laptop being there.

Yeah, you missed the kickbox! That thing radiates awesomeness and gives one free concussion to your opponent, but too much awesomeness can weigh you down with -25% meter build. Beware!

I also fought my way out of loser's bracket and won for the fourth week in a row. There was an awesome Markman mirror that I lost but it was so fun that I didn't care. The turnout seems consistent and I got choked out in a set, which will scar me until the day I die.

VIDEO GAMES!

Vidya games indeed, Cosgrove.

My kickbox hungers for more victims. I will be awaiting a fresh supply of frauds to feed it tonight.

You're missing out! Behold: THE KICKBOX!

This fine piece of video game input technology already has mind-altering powers, and it's still a WIP! I played on it and it told me two winning lottery numbers!

But beware: it also has a dark side! Sometimes, it might tell you to do evil things! Resist its urge to make you brake unexpectedly on the highway, cheat on your taxes, or play as S-Kill!

This unfortunate citizen couldn't resist the temptation and succumbed to its evil will! After defeating two opponents in embarrassing fashion, this person was frauded out of the tournament!

Can YOU handle the KICKBOX?

Still wont be coming tognight, though I did do somehting cool. I made a kenny costume, and by that I mean I bought pants, a hat and a halo to add to my shirt and shoes. Although the halo was rather diffucult to attach, Im pretty satisfied. I think I am going to wear it next time I get to go there.

That sounds cool. What color is your costume? White? Black would be good as well.

Speaking of black things:

DrUnK3nPaNdA gave this (un)holy tool of destruction some plexiglass and primer for an eventual paint job and stick art. The kickbox also helped me find cheap gas near Aurora, and it predicts that GOOG will hit $1500 by the end of next year.

I might bring some leftover Halloween candy next week for everyone, and maybe some extra as a prize for a winner. Come by and play Divekick with us!

We're also doing test recordings of these tournaments.

Just put on your Kenny costume and hope you get the S-Kill stance. Then, teleport your way to Aurora.

Try not to die, though. That would be bad.

Yes, recording will probably happen on Tuesday. I'm going to be working it out Monday, but if anyone can try to remember to bring a headset for the commentators, it would be awesome... My boss in all his infinite wisdom decided to throw away the two pairs we bought for that purpose out... because 'Two Button Tuesday Headphones' was too cryptic a note to tape to them, I guess?

Asking if he had my headkrones did give me a good excuse to use 'spooby pls' in context in normal conversation, though...

Why would anyone throw away headphones, regardless of the note on them =p
