9/20/13 Divekick PC Patch - Mute yourself!
« on: September 20, 2013, 02:58:44 pm »
We pushed out a Steam patch for Divekick on Steam today at 2:00pm CST.  Here are the changes:

  • Players can now mute their own microphone when playing online by selecting off in the online options menu.
  • Your video options now get saved off their own file, "GraphicsOptions.xml", found in the Divekick directory under Steamapps.  For users who cannot see the game due to it launching in the wrong resolution, this gives them a way to change the options before loading the game to solve issues.
  • Resolutions over 720p should now render properly.  Your video options will have reset themselves as part of this change, so you'll need to set them again.  Please be aware that if you are on a lower spec machine, running at 1080p may hurt performance.

There's still some problems with some of the UI graphics (namely the highlighted character in the select screen, the versus screen portraits and the lifebar portraits) being blocky/pixelated even with UI Quality set to high, but otherwise the game looks great at 1080p.
